Trouble with TSBOOWTDI is that it can take you forever and a day to figure out the One Way. Especially since each True Believer who gives you the answer turns out to have a personal interpretation in any case.

The other problem with TSBOOWTDI is the fragility shown when the underlying assumptions break. In Perl, for instance, if method A doesn't work because of some oddity in the implementation of required feature Aa, then you can try method C that avoids Aa. -- Bo Leuf
